Because we want to make it easier for you to stay informed and engaged with your super, we're changing the way we communicate with you.
What's changing?
From mid-May, you’ll receive digital notifications from us either via email
or SMS when we need to tell you something about your Hostplus account. This
could be, for example, a confirmation about a transaction, or information about a legislative change affecting your super.
The digital notification will let you know that correspondence is ready for you to read in your Member Online account.
Why are we making this change?
Digital notifications are more secure, as you'll need to use multi-factor authentication to log in to Member Online. They're also cheaper to deliver than printed letters, which helps us keep costs low for our members, and they’re more environmentally friendly.
What do you need to do?
When you receive a digital notification from us, simply follow these steps:
1. Log in to Member Online.
2. Select ‘Statements and correspondence’ under the ‘My profile’ tab in the top-right corner. This is where you’ll find all the important notifications that we send to you.
What if you'd prefer to receive notifications by post?
To receive notifications by post, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Member Online.
2. Select ‘Communication preferences’ under the ‘My profile’ tab.
3. Change your preference.

What if you want to opt out of receiving notifications?
We're required by law to notify you about updates to your account, so you cannot opt out of receiving notifications. You can, however, choose to receive them digitally or by post. We may also send you an email where an SMS notification hasn't been enabled.
You can unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications at any time.
